Wind Turbine Empty
PostSubject: Wind Turbine   Wind Turbine EmptySat Oct 12, 2013 3:41 pm

Here is one of the more talented and inventive wind turbine developers as far as I am concerned.
He and one other fella have gravitated together working out a new design based upon belgrademachine's Barebones Axial Flux Wind Turbine Muddys Mighty Mini Alternator.

These two amazingly talented guys have banned together to produce some exciting wind turbine concepts.

This was the first video that got my attention that was produced by belgrademachine on youtube.

Here is an update to a project he and Muddymuddymuddman are cooperating together on.

Here is a link to muddymuddymuddman's DUAL PERMANENT MAGNET ROTOR AXIAL FLUX WIND TURBINE how to step by step videos.

Enjoy guys and gals, they are doing some really exciting stuff.

Great videos !  I also have an interesting in wind turbines, kind of hard not to when you live in a windy state like North Dakota. We can have one nice calm still day and almost guaranteed the other 6 days are of constant wind.

North Dakota has a very large number of wind farms that have been put up over the last few years and they continue. From a distance they don't look to be turning all that fast but the noise they make from the wind moving over the blades is unreal. Almost as bad as living by a busy Railroad Track. :x

twisted, was that something you bought new or used, and actually used it at one time?

a friend picked it up, with 5 other bigger ones at auction. I got it for unloading tractor trailer for him.
From what I've read, they never worked correct.
this one is bent up some.
This will be my summer project,
