Thanks Hitchiker and as always gadily great posts.
I like the top stove, looks pretty cool.
I had no idea Jeff had his build up on youtube as well had no idea it even existed until you posted it.

Thanks so much, that stove has some real potential.

I am a total outdoor cooking nut. Rocket BBQs are fantastic quick and easy. We eat 'out' most every night with no long waits for the charcoal to light

I use a paint can rocket stoves as portable BBQs.

Just note for a simple modification when cooking over a rocket flame.

An old paella pan turned upside down over the flame makes a great rocket grill. If you concave dish the pan so the meat cooks in its own juice you can add oil, wine, etc.
A hole in the centre made with a small nail allows excess fat to drip on the flame, provides added fuel.
The same nail with a couple of thin wire turns at the head end makes an easy to control stopper so you can either let the food cook in lots of juices or grill with the excess fat dripping into the fire.

Whole fish cooked in paper and tin foil wrap are really easy and fantastic to eat.

I would post pics but no sure how to do this.
