I have been following the progress of a few rocket stove builders since last summer when I saw one in operation for the first time.
A friend of mine built a rocket stove pizza oven from farmyard scraps, and I watched in amazement as he cooked 80 pizzas in approximately two hours!
I am often called to cook two meals a day for upwards of 80 people at various summer gatherings and festivals, and I want to have a fast and reliable way to boil large amounts of water, and have it double as a wok station for a large catering size wok.
I am working on a portable design now, trusting that I will have a fully working stove in time for the coming summer festival season.
