| Hi all! My name is Mike. Live in southern Massachusetts. I'm into Oldsmobiles (mostly 64-72 Cutlass models) and a member of Boilermakers Local 29. Hence the user name. Same as my youtube channel. Found this forum thru another forum. I recognized some user names from Youtube and liked the forum topic so I decided to join. Kevin Bacon, ppotty, tryin2hard and ceotropheous (hope I spelled that one right) are some of the channels I'm subbed to and enjoy watching their videos of stoves and various ideas on stoves. There are a lot of things I can share with videos but my way of doing videos makes things go really slow for me in the garage. Eventually I will make videos to share some things I've done or plan to do. I'm currently working on a stove like ppotty built a while back. It's on the back burner 'til I get my hands on more material for the stove and now I'm making gifts for family and friends out of stainless steel for Christmas (maybe videos after the holidays). Will do the best I can to contribute here :) | |

| Hi Cutlass, Welcome aboard mate Know what you are saying about filming the builds it is difficult and can be time consuming. What I tend to do is film my builds at set points rather than film myself building them, I then just describe what i have done and what I am doing next then edit the next clip in, if you plan it beforehand its much easier. I just try to capture the important interesting bits rather than 5 mins of me trying to weld. Think most people are really just interested in the end result anyway and just need ideas how you assembled it all. | |
