Hello to all. I live in Panama City Fl., Im an electrician by trade, but my love has always been to work with steel, and wood. I have built a great many devices, contraptions, projects, etc. that others said could not be done.  I'm guessing I have found some like minded people here on this forum.

What led me here were the you tube videos of Trying 2 Hard.
For the last 2 weeks I have been trying to learn as much about rocket stoves as possible.  I can't believe it took me this long to run across this info.  Due to a great many reasons, not the least of which is financial, my wife and I are living in an Rv.  What really brought me here was the fact that propane isn't cheap, and I am determined to build a wood stove for heat.  I don't like to fail, and waste resources, so I want to get it right the first time.  I am hoping to gain from where others have gone.

hi and welcome to the forum

electrician by trade and built devices and contraptions sounds like to me you could well fit in with advice for others upon this forum as well as gaining info for what you need to build your own

havent lived in an rv but know what caravans are like to live in them

on other info on what maybe a good build is the turbo stove small and compact also the dyno v is also compact as well both can use pellets and wood for heating and cooking if only what for heating both will do it

otherwise have fun and enjoy your building please do post your pics of your builds as its nice to see others build theres and how they work as well

Thank you for the welcome. i failed to mention that before i became an electrician, i was a structural welder. While I have seen the dyno V (very impressive) I think it is more complex than I want to build at this time. I like the term (kiss) Keep it simple, stupid. I have not seen the turbo stove as yet.
