for those that may not know firebrick can be cut this is posted to aid any builder out there that is building one and if needed can save money by buying one type of brick for 2 jobs



hammer and chisel





tennon saw and hacksaw



mitre saw



wet saw also known as tile cutter



bandsaw



you can cut the firebrick long ways using a wet saw but you have to do half and half cut please support it at the top as well as slide it gently into the blade all these jobs means take it slowly and carefully
