rocket - Welkom rocket stove Roketstovewithashbin1.jpg.w560h270Hi here is my thinking on a rocket stove

the picture is of the airways.

I will make the air ways out of polestireen then I have some refectory cement that I will cover it in. then melt out the polestireen.

so what have we got?
on the right is the ash pan as you can see it has an up rite in the middel like a stage, this ash pan is inserted in to the bottom of the burner chamber and the stage stops the wood from falling all the way to the bottom.

the air comes from a lower point so that we do not get a chiminy affect. this is then swerled in side the burn chamber ( might try inverting this?)

the hot flue gas is then fed in to the bottom of the riser at an angle to creat a natural spin/ vortex with out vaines.

any how will start next week to make it.

The bigflyin

Could you please be a bit more specific, where do you feed wood where combustion occurs and what is the path for air and flue gases, what is the partition of the inner parts of the stove?

Thanks

Double barrels are out there, you should be able to implement your idea , check these out.
Probably good if you are heating a large area

ps a bit more specific::

ok so the highest toob is the flue that would be entering a drum.

the lowest one is the air feed in, and the right hand short one is where the flue would go in. the little drum on the side slips in under where the flue gos in..

OK so now I supose its as clear as mud..
sorry

give me a few days and Ill try to build one as well as put up a vidio

cheers guys
