Thought this is a very cool metal working machine.
Now lets see the poor mans version of it.

Here is another fantastic machine, pay attention to the part when he grabs the dies with his hands, it will give you a visual reference to the size of scale.
Notice the two side rollers on the machine, they are positioned to keep the metal from flexing or contorting in order to facilitate the expected shape of the metal.
As well the dies play a integral part of keeping the metal from contorting giving full control over the shape desired.
