Hello from Concord New Hampshire USA,
My name is Greg and I have been looking for a solution to take the edge off winter in small 200 year old farmhouse. "This is it."
I'm Looking forward to exchanging Ideas.

Take care as winter sets in.

Greg

A long lost welcome to Greg, in a more than colder part of the land.

My suggestion is to watch every Rocket Stove YouTube video taking notes of good ideas and who suggested them, operating data and durability of construction. With that background you are ready for the Forum.

I have only been at the RS Forum a couple of days, but it looks to me a far easier place than YT to share ideas. Pick an interesting topic, read all those posts thus far and jump right in.

welcome to the forums greg

ive built a few of them now and they are good for a shed in my case

they certainly take that chill off in no time at all once lit

there is a few types of rs out there

a metal based type
a mass type of rs
and also hybrids

other factors have to be included including the space that your heating up

have fun and enjoy the forums

jwhyski welcome to the forums

it would all depend on what you was looking for in a wood burning stove too how much info that you need sometimes its worth building a system seeing how it works and seeing if you can improve on its design
