im an ex plumber/builder that used to service the old back boiler systems either gas built or some i came across was the old copper tank at back of the fire systems so hopefully i can contribute some stuff as well

i have to say that the wood burner has caught my interest and the cost of other stuff is so high that alternatives must be found to be used now

im just about to build a few rocket burner stoves now and i have a few gas bottles already degassed thoe im not so sure on the opening of the stainless steel pipe into it

so i hope you dont me asking for the size of opening so i can incorporate it into my build as i build it up

thanks its through your utube vids that ive gained an interest in the rocket burner

thoe ive found out that steel here in the uk is expensive and more so if you havent got a friend you can get offcuts from as you have to buy new

thoe im glad of one thing that ppotty showed the damage that steel pipe can get via one of your vids and thats the making of the stainless steel flue tube vid

also like the 6x6" burner i could make in 3mm and stainless steel insert it to give 5mm instead of your 5mm and then your insert
