You will find 60 psi works far better
mine is on a 13amp plug, never had a problem, thickest I have cut is 16mm plate but you will get slag on the rear, clean cut up to 8mm with a change of plasma cutter head

Gadily for using the cut 50L with the cnc machine that was pretty impressive considering how cheap the cut 50L is.
That is the direction I want to take and eventually get a cnc set up, it will be needed for what I have in mind.
Thanks for sharing the vids man.

Yip I got a CUT 50 as well, have only used a plasma cutter in a show room.
so when I got this I have been very impressed!!
normally the compressor is cheaper than the cutter , but not in this case..
ps I find I need the 100 or 150 lettre tank as when cutter and compressor run at the same time its not so clever. (long extension out to my shed)

I run my compressor and plasma off my generator and cannot run the plasma cutter when the compressor kicks in. I have to wait till it builds back up pressure, however it is a short wait.
