Hello all.

I'm in the middle of building a mini-rocket heater out of a 30 lb propane cylinder. (I'll post up photos in the other section of it)
I've watched about every rocket stove/heater video on youtube have I could find before I jumped into making mine. I'm hoping it works and that it'll last for quite a few years without the steel flaking away due to heat. I'm planning on coating everything with 2,000 degree paint on the inside and outside to help protect it.

Anyway, I look forward to the comments and suggestions on my project.

It will be interesting to see how well the paint holds up.
Hopefully after a year or so you can do a dissection and see how it did.
I suspect it will not hold up.

I think the way to go would be ceramic coatings which I do plan on experimenting with in the future.

Welcome man, and looking forward to seeing your build and the paint results.
