Hi all,

Just a wonderful forum lots of help and friendliness going around.

I started off just wanted to make a stove for camping and that's what i intend to do first maybe with a lava rack type attachment for barbecue, then on to a more ambitious stove for the house able to put some heat into the hot water and some rads.

Its going to be great just messing around with some simple stuff first and practising the basic skills of welding, cutting ............

Great to be on board

Barron

heres some more vids to do with tent stoves

some are foldable some are not all really depends on what your looking for when carrying something on your back
in a car is different as you can take something more heavier and in the range of a rocket stove

dyno v ive clocked at 10kg
new system ive just built is 16kg

https://woodstoves.forumotion.co.uk/t144-folding-stove

im interested in finding something lighter but can be used for heat and heating water

Gadily if my new stove design works our well it is very light.

I am using 1/8th inch stainless steel.

I am about 75 percent into the project, have the stove welded up and chimney junction in place as well.

I now have to work on secondary air and get the double vortex tube installed, doors and air controls.

So far it is looking pretty good and is incredibly much lighter than any stove I have built to date.

As well I now figure I can build one a day once I get all my ducks lined up in a row.

Welcome Baron, glad to have you with us.
