Hi All,

The time is upon me, only one more hurdle to jump.
I decided at start of December that I was going to get going back out in my shed and garage and obviously the first thing had to be a source of heat, this is Scotland after all.
A few google searches later I had found my research and started to watch and listen, ppotty1's was the first space heater type rocket stove I came across and the idea stealing began  ;)

By New Year I had half an idea what I wanted but being broke I scanned the garage to see what I had, not a lot was the result.  A 15 Kg gas bottle, the little dumpy one and a few lengths of box section, none bigger than 2 x 2 and not much of that  😢

Things looked up last week, I was at a customer's yard and there was a 6'+ length of 4 x 4 out in the yard.  Having a good Scots tongue in my head, I asked what it was for. Long story short I left with it in the boot of my car, kindly chopped down into 3 18" lengths and a 2' one.  I did ask what he wanted for it and the nice man said he must be owe me that as a favour.
The 1mm cutting discs I ordered for my grinder arrived today and I blew the dust off my welder.

Now to the final hurdle, I've got to work out how to take a video on my phone and post it to YouTube, so I can start a "My Stove" thread
I'll be back to let you know how I get on,

Jack

https://www.dropbox.com/login?cont=https%3A//www.dropbox.com/account/settings#info

however if you use this link

i get an extra 500mb added to what i have already i like the idea of it and between friends we can all have extra free storage to use

Thanks gadily, I'll have a look see :) firstly I've got to work out how the video works on my phone.
I always thought a phone was for making calls, I'm a bit last century lol
