Hello to all. First let me say, "I wish I could weld". Secondly all the great videos and information I've seen have made me re-think the heating system on the house I'm planning to build. So thank all of you who made sense of all this.

as a newbie welder myself its easier than you think if your lucky enough you can pick a mig welder up cheaply and arc is even cheaper we are not welding car panels0.8mm but 2-5mm steel or in the vortex tube which is stainless steel

though there is a difference but will admit mig is easier than arc as i learnt arc first

otherwise welcome to the site

You can weld, do what I did if you have the interest and desire.
I did not know how to wire weld, I did some research for a good year before settling on the rocket stove heater.

Then started the slow painful process of buying materials one piece at a time and equipment.

My first purchase was a propane tank.
Then I purchased a mig welder for 125.00 it was a 110 volt.

Then when I had the funds I bought my welding gloves and finally a welding helmet.

I had watched several videos on youtube on how to mig weld, so if I can do it so can you if you have the desire and interest.

I like what Edison said when he was asked the secret to his success.

He replied it is 2% inspiration and 98% perspiration.

I am in the process of a Shoulder Operation this next Wednesday so I will be laid up for a while and taking a break from my social media work so I can read through the forum here. Looking forward to it!
