Basically, the traditional rocket stove is built like a Jetstream. Would it be possible to turn the rocket stove into a downdraft gasifier?
I am even curious as to what would happen if you narrowed the end of the feed tube on a J. Would the stove even work?

Narrowed. Have only a small opening leading to the next chamber on a J tube. The other thought I had is what if you added secondary air either before or after that point. Maybe it wouldn't work at all?
