Hybrid Rocket Stove

I'll be scaling this up a bit to build a new wood fired outdoor boiler for this winter.

Very nice idea. Secondary air well placed, makes wonders.

I thought this was fantastic, readily available materials for putting this together as an emergency stove.
Would do good for any interested in it to do it in advance of the emergency:>)

I've been doing some more experimentation with the hybrid stove aka stonehenge stove:



Its been raining, so I haven't been able to assemble and test a proper vortex generator. Based on the results with the scrap built one, I'm hopeful.

I'm planning on putting a vortex generator in the bottom of each firetube of the full sized boiler I'll be building. Hopefully it will assist in heat transfer by spiraling the hot gases in better contact with the tubes. I'll test it with and without to see if there is a difference.
