Hi there,

I live in Leicester U.K. the home of the pork pie and Stilton cheese, I have been watching YouTube videos posted by you all and have become fascinated by this technology indeed I have constructed my own RS already, I plan to experiment with various fire boxes over the summer and install my creation for the forthcoming winter, I would like to thank all you guys for the work and ideas that you have shared with the community and plan to contribute where and when I can.

Regards Domo.

Hello from northwestern Ontario. I'm not a welder but willing to learn and hope to build a rocket wood stove . Am building an off-grid cabin at the end of a 600 foot zipline (no road to the site) and interested in all enviro-friendly technologies. Glad to be on board this site.

most are not welders just hobbyists but if you take a look in the lounge there is a subject upon welding and how to improve your welding

ive tried arc and now tryed mig i prefer mig welding as easier

theres also enough info to produce electricity and also if need be run a generator so off grid could be done at supplement costs

also with rocket stoves its which model do you choose to use and build for yourself theres enough designs to choose from some are portable and there is designs for cooking in an oven type rocket burner

so plenty to choose from

Hi Everybody,
I'm William Amos from Hunters, WA. USA. I have been into fabrication my entire life. I grew up watching jigs and fixtures being built for Hard-Tail and Custom Choppers in our garage in the 70's. But, everybody and their Sons are doing that! I like keeping people warm in the Great Northwest. I see how important the Hearth (Heart) of a home is here. It gives me a great feeling of satisfaction to see a family using something that I built to sustain their daily lives. I was employed for 16 years by a stove company that once held the title for the "Worlds Cleanest non-Catalytic Wood Burning Stove's". Also, the worlds first self igniting, thermostatic remote control pellet stove. I have gained a vast bank of knowledge working for them. I was invited here by Tryin2Hard on YouTube, as I have been interested in his progress since the Rocket Stove Build. Rocket Stoves are So Cool for fast energy purposes. Downdraft Technology is the best of both worlds. Anyway, glad to be here with a bunch of mad thermo-science geeks. Anything I can do to help...I'm Here!

I am glad to be of service.  cheers Don't be shy..Better to ask and feel like a fool for a second..Than to never ask and be a fool for life! I don't know everything, but what I do know I will share. Freely.

Pride/Ego can sometimes be the only obstacle between you and where you want to be. Live like you mean it!
