I found the site by watchin some vids on rocket stoves on youtube. We are in the process of makin the switch to living off grid. I am amazed in this world swollowed whole by materialism and greed to have found a place like this with like minded folks sharing information. Getting of grid and as self sufficient as possible is the goal and living in the rocky mountains can get cold so cheap highly efficient wood burning is a big thing on our to do list. 2nd is water and there is plenty of that running off the mountains all year. I would also like to build a portable outdoor rocket stove shower with 12 volt pump. Could run without pump also by pulling 5 gallon or 10 gallon buckets of creek water up a tree with rope n gravity feed to rocket stove. could have a line on each bucket witth ball valve so when one bucket empties you can easily switch to the other bucket for a good long shower. so many ideas and brain runs on coffee well so thats my story and im sticking to it. thx again for crreating this ssite loookin forward to meeting you

welcome to the site anarchist

theres plenty of sites out there with the thought of giving some back to the people its even better when you all can work together making things much better for everyone

if you are considering heating water with it then its worth getting a tank of water and heating that up as thats conforms not just for heating of the water but can be used for your heating of the house

enjoy the forums

Thats a great idea but we will be living in 20ft rv maybe a 24 ft. we want to be mobile with all our possesions and camp most of the year so we dicided to do it full time. i was thinking of having insulated hot water tank housed on the bumper of the rv sealed up and nicely insulated. maybe run pex tubing in the floorrs for raadiant headting with aluminum sheets over top of it with finished pallet flooring hehe my ideas evolve from stuff i can aquire for free. my keyboard has sticky keys and its a pain to go back n fix. like i say so many ideas. i appreciate the welccome bro thx again :)
