Hello fellow pyromaniacs and tinkerers.
My first real success at getting something to burn well and mostly smoke free.  Rather heavy as I used gravel for filler around the burn chamber.

Then a more compact and lighter one, with perlite and clay. Along the way, learned that a four inch burn chamber works much better than a three inch.

Then made a better more permanent one for outdoor cooking.

And to finish it off . . .

Will post my home rocket heater(no mass) another time.

Very nice work! Welcome, looking forward to viewing more of your work.
Do you have any videos of them in use?
I really liked the table you designed around the stove, now that is cool!

Sorry, no videos. To do over, I wouldn't have used metal, but formed it out of clay with cardboard and thin wood for inner forms, then let it burn out. The metal really soaks up the heat till it reaches that equilibrium. A decent first stove though.
