This oven was built by a friend out of farmyard scraps for a private gathering back in July 2013. It cooked around 80 pizzas in just over two hours.
The pipes in the hearth area fed air to produce a secondary burn, and once going, we were able to feed the stove with birch twigs and deadfall from the forest floor.
Anyone wishing to view the oven within reach of East Suffolk, England, please PM me.
The difficult part is narrowing down what you are looking for. Size, durability, function, and weight. There are a zillion ways to cook a pizza.
I know this isn't what most do but I am starting to lean towards channels. Maybe it's just me but the bells (ovens) don't seem to draft as well as channels. I used to want a black oven but now I think I am leaning more towards a white one.
ive considered using a stainless steel one as reflects heat inside the oven
so today broke up a dish washer to get the stainless steel chamber and the door in stainless steel also broke up a fridge as well got the cooler radiator out of that as well as i can use that on a build somewhere
