I'd consider the CK Burner as its reasonably priced and proven over more than a decade. The Yahoo group Altfuelfurnace is a good resource. Its getting harder to source free waste oil. I'd use waste motor oil as WMO is cleaner than used vegetable oil. WVO is more sought out by the bio diesel users. Check out Craig Kepner's design. You could build one, but I'd like to get the proven CK Burner and be done with it. I'd like to build a dual fuel rocket that burns WMO as well as wood chips, but not setup for both fuels at the same time. I'd to also use the CK Burner for a metal foundry project as Craig's burner produces enough heat to melt iron.
