nice videos there

i like the idea of the opening just watch out for it becoming hot though

the j tube is ok to use though many has moved away from it due to filling times and also fires up the j tube
however using a firebox also means its still a j tube to a degree

Thanks gadily must admit I use this to heat garage ,and when your doing stuff stove runs out of wood before u realise.so what's the replacement for J tube.was modifying it to add a little mass storage anyways

by building a firebox



a firebox means you can fill it and leave it on low primary air 2hrs + for another refill depending on size of your firebox also insulating with firebrick adds more heat to the stove
