Just joined in Minnesota

I have always been intrigued with fire since I was young, and have since built several wood burning stoves for various uses in the past. The rocket stove concept is interesting and I'm always looking to burn more efficiently to keep my wood consumption to a minimum.
Hopefully I will find the answers here for my next project and be able to share my future results here also. Thanks! DR

it will be interesting to see your woodburner builds post them up when you can do after the forum allows you to post them which wont be long

however do enjoy your read around the forums theres plenty to pick up at and also enough info to create your own build

This is Gary B. from MN. I live just south of Staples MN. I also have built many wood stoves out of Stainless Steel. I have been a member here for a while. I am planing on building a stove like ppotty's with a burning box that can handle stove length wood. I am gathering materials and info now but I will have it done by fall. If you are interested in this project I welcome you to come and check it out. In my humble opinion I think this is the best new tech stove building forum there is. It seems everyone here is willing to share there knowledge in a very friendly way.

Ok. My plan is to cover the build right here. Like I noted I am gathering material and info from a lot of builders right here. There is information here from guys who have built and tried things and you just can't beat that. Trying2hard has really been an inspiration. Every time I have an idea I run it by him and he is right there with advice.

Welcome to the forum. I have learned a lot by reading but I think the way to learn the most is by building!
