Good afternoon all,

just joined up as this year I'm going to get serious about making a heater for my workshop. I've already done a few gas bottle burners and wheel burners for outside use, but now I want to tackle a pellet burner for inside the workshop.
I'm looking at buying and installing a pellet burner to replace my existing log burner, then later on if funds allow, I might swap my gas boiler over to a pellet burner- I won't be making those myself as stated, they'll both be factory bought.
Aiming to knock up a simple burner this weekend as a trial for a later serious attempt.
Soon be Spring.

Thanks for the welcome and the links. Most of the you tube builds I have seen don't really cover pellet consumption in any depth.
The factory models reckon on filling the hopper once a day, most hoppers look as though they take around half a 15kg bag.
All depends on the size and insulation of the space of course and personal comfort levels.
Good luck with your project.
